If you live outside of the US, it is possible for you to adopt a US child from foster care.

The first step will be to contact an organization in your country, discuss the possibility of an intercounty adoption, and complete their licensing process. In order to adopt a child living in the US, you will also need to meet the requirements of the child’s state and agency.
