Zakaria, Araya, Zanaya, Janyje and Macorian are happy African American sibling group who look forward to becoming part of a permanent family soon. Future teacher Zakaria, born in 2011, is a helpful teen who enjoys walking, playing on her tablet, watching TV, and listening to pop and hip-hop music. At school, where she earns good grades, is well-behaved, gets along well with the other kids, and social studies is her favorite subject, Zakaria enjoys spending time with her friends and playing clarinet in the band. Future police officer Araya, born in 2014, enjoys being near others and doing what they do. She also enjoys dancing, creating videos, playing with her dolls, dressing up, watching ‘Frozen’, and participating in and watching cheerleading. At school, where she earns good grades, Araya enjoys learning about math, especially multiplication. Future dance teacher Zanaya, born in 2015, is a kind and intelligent child who enjoys swimming, jumping on a trampoline, singing, dancing, listening to pop music, having a house cat, and watching dance competitions, ‘Spy Kids’, and ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’. At school, where she is well-behaved, earns good grades, gets along well with the other kids, and math is her favorite subject, Zanaya enjoys learning new things. Janyje, born in 2019, gets along well with other kids and enjoys being around other people, smiling and laughing when engaging with others, having others talk and read to her, listening to soft music, and watching people and ‘Peppa Pig’. Macorian, born in 2023, is a very happy and inquisitive toddler who loves dancing and clapping his hands to music. He loves all educational musical toys and watching Cocomelon and Sesame Street. Macorian enjoys trips to the park where he can play with his toys and toddler bike. Zakaria, Araya, Zanaya, Janyje and Macorian need a loving adoptive family who will give them the attention, support, encouragement, structure, and nurturing environment they need to continue to thrive. Their family will also need to support their desire to maintain their relationships with their four siblings who have been planned for separately.
