Peren

Peren is an easy-going, funny teen with a wide variety of interests.

For one, Peren loves spending time outside and appreciates being around green trees and breathing in the fresh air. Whether it's going for a bike ride, taking a walk, going for a camping trip, or setting up a picnic, Peren is the perfect companion to be outside with.

Wherever Peren ends up, they would love to be somewhere with great accessibility to the outdoors so they can keep doing all the things they love doing!

Peren is also fascinated by various cultures and would love to get to know more about the experiences of people around the world. With their intelligent, creative spirit, it’s no wonder Peren’s imagination is so expansive.

If you're down to play a game, so is Peren. Whether it's a strategy games like Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons, or video games, they're always up for playing something!

Peren's current favorite video game is called Bioshock.

Currently in the 8th grade, Peren is a really intelligent kid who thrives with a challenge. Their favorite thing about being in school right now is playing basketball in PE. An adoptive family who can encourage and support them as they navigate their education would be a great resource for their future.

Peren is a super-easy going teenager. While their movie-night pick would be Star Wars, they'd be happy to watch any movie (even old ones)!

A funny kid, Peren loves to tell what are affectionately called “dad jokes,” which is essentially a very cheesy joke. They love to make people laugh and tend to be friendly and social. They’ve said they feel good about adoption and are hoping to find a “friendly family.”

Peren has recently been learning how to play the guitar! They love to listen to music and are now enjoying the process of being able to play music on their own, too.

Peren is a great kid who is kind, caring, and friendly. The team thinks they’ll do best in a home with two experienced parents or a strong single parent. The team thinks Peren will do well with a family who has a lot of quality time to give to Peren; one who will really get to know them and listen to them. And we know they deserve that. Peren is eager to hear from families who are affirming and accepting.
