Help Us Celebrate National Adoption Month
November is National Adoption Month and this year’s theme celebrates advancements in adoption in the digital age. In partnership with the U.S. Children’s Bureau and Child Welfare Information Gateway, we have developed several new resources about using social media and other online tools to help children in foster care find loving, permanent families
There are currently 104,000 children in U.S. foster care available for adoption. Whether you work in child welfare, are foster or adoptive parents, or someone else who is helping to make the difference of a lifetime for these children, there are resources for you on the 2012 National Adoption Month website.
The Children's Bureau, within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, funds the National Adoption Month initiative each November through a partnership with AdoptUSKids and Child Welfare Information Gateway.
