About the Siblings
Carla and Glenn are a sibling group of two adorable children who are looking for a place to call home. They are active children who love to be around other children and adults and have a lot of love to give to their forever family.
Carla, born in 1998, is a beautiful young lady with a smile that lights up her whole face. She is a quiet but friendly child who is inquisitive and lively. She does well in school and enjoys sports. She is also very interested in dancing and enjoys playing softball, as well as computer games. Her favorite class at school is gym because she gets to go outside and play sports. She is a good dancer and seems to come out of her “shell” whenever music is played and she starts dancing around. She is respectful toward adults and follows the rules both at home and at school. She is helpful to others and loves to smile. She would like to be a judge when she grows up.
Glenn, born in 2003, is a very charming young man who is lively and energetic. He is a lovable child who not only knows what he wants, but he also figures out a way to try to get it. He tries to be independent, but he depends a lot on his sister, Carla. He is energetic and stays busy playing with his favorite toys. He enjoys playing with cars and age appropriate computer games. He is a funny kid and is always making people laugh with his antics.
Carla and Glenn are legally free for adoption.
Carla and Glenn have an adult sister with whom they have regular contact. They would like to be able to continue this relationship following placement into an adoptive home.
Carla and Glenn have a very strong bond and they want to be in a home together. Carla states that she is unsure if she wants to be adopted, but she wants to be placed with Glenn and experience the love of a forever family. Carla has difficulty discussing her feelings about her mother and may test boundaries in a new setting. Glenn receives extra support at school with his behavior and development. Carla and Glenn need a family who can participate in activities with them and who can be patient and attentive to their needs. They are in need of a lot of support in their growth and development. Other resources such as Family Therapy and in-home professional support may be appropriate for added assistance during their adjustment and transition to a new home and family. They have a lot of love to give an adoptive family, and they need a family who is able to provide them with a lot of nurturing, structure, stability, and unconditional love.
The team wishes to limit recruitment to families in MISSOURI ONLY.
