Ask Gregory or Junior as he prefers, what he likes to do, and chances are he can think of several things. He loves building with Legos, especially when he can create something entirely from his own imagination. Comic books, board games, movie nights, television, and riding his go-kart are also among his favorite ways to spend time. On weekends, Junior enjoys adventures like visiting a trampoline park or water park, going to the beach, camping, and spending time on a boat. He enjoys trying new foods, too, and especially looks forward to the bagels and desserts that make their way to the table.
Junior is creative, expressive, and intuitive, with a wonderful sense of humor. He loves to laugh and can often be the reason everyone else is laughing, too. He is smart and kind and has a strong sense of right and wrong. Junior is also learning more about friendships and social cues and has made meaningful progress along the way. Although he can be timid when getting to know people, he has a deeply caring side that shines once trust has been established. Hugs and connection with the people he trusts are especially important to him, and he has a lot of love to give.
Junior enjoys celebrating all the holidays and especially likes discovering the new foods and desserts that come with each one. He also enjoys going to church when he is able. If he could travel anywhere, he would choose Florida, a place he has visited before and remembers having lots of fun. Looking toward the future, Junior hopes to become a police officer. Junior would do best with a two-parent family who has experience caring for children with complex histories and can offer patience, consistency, and plenty of encouragement. He would prefer to be the only or youngest child in the home and would enjoy having pets and living in a rural setting. Maintaining his relationships with his siblings is also very important. Junior is looking for a family who will take the time to earn his trust, celebrate his creativity and humor, and give him opportunities to build, explore, play, and discover new things together. Most of all, he needs a family who will see the thoughtful, funny, and kind person underneath his timid exterior and give him the love and belonging he deserves.
