About Laura
Laura is a funny, friendly teen with a creative side. She has a talent for drawing and painting and enjoys expressing her creativity through writing her own short stories or books. It’s no wonder that her favorite class in school is English, and her favorite character is Edward Cullen from the Twilight series. Laura thinks that mind-reading would be the best superpower, and her eye is drawn to purple hues. She likes listening to music in her downtime, with some of her favorite artists being Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and Luke Bryan. When mac and cheese is served for dinner, it’s sure to put a smile on her face! Laura loves dogs, and although she wouldn’t mind living in an urban setting, she would enjoy living in the country with a horse or cow. She hopes to have a house with a dog and a parent with lots of empathy and patience who enjoys music and reading.
Laura is currently in the eleventh grade and is very bright. She does well with academics and does best in a smaller educational setting. She’s not sure yet what she wants to do after high school, but she does want to pursue higher education.
Laura would do best in a home with a single mom where she can be the oldest child; however, her caseworker will consider all family types. A family with pets is preferred. She has significant connections to maintain following placement. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
