Aliyah’s favorite movie is Guardians of the Galaxy and she also likes to watch the Sponge Bob movie, Finding Nemo, Chicago Med and Chicago Fire, Stranger Things, and Gray’s Anatomy. Math is her favorite subject in school and she typically does well in this class. One of her favorite snacks is blue Takis but she likes pretty much everything, she says.
Aliyah does well when she has a supportive, consistent routine and adults in her life. She does require some reminders to use her coping skills when she becomes upset. When asked how she feels about having a permanent family Aliyah says “happy”. When asked what things she would like a potential family to know about her, Aliyah said "that I'm a sweet girl if you give me a chance, I've just been hurt."
