About Ja'Luv
Ja’Luv is cooperative and receptive of information. He wants to be part of a family and wishes to be adopted. Ja’Luv is able to admit when he is wrong and really tries to improve his behaviors; however, he is short tempered and requires a family that is patient and willing to redirect him to help him calm down. Ja’Luv is a 14-year-old youth who continues to search for his identity. Ja’Luv changes his name based on his environment and the individuals he is interacting with. In the school settings, the youth go by the name of Teddy and prefers to be referred to as they/them. He likes helping his caregiver and enjoys cooking with his caregiver.
Ja’Luv likes to read nonfiction and fiction books. He enjoys learning and discussing history and historical events. He would like to be an author one day.
Ja’Luv has two older sisters. One is an adult and the other is a minor. His minor sister resides with his grandmother and Ja’Luv has regular overnight visitation with them.
Regarding Ja’Luv’s additional condition, he is compliant with treatment; however, is struggling with school work. He often gets involved in physical altercations at school and claims sometimes he is bullied.
Ja’Luv is physically healthy overall and there are no medical concerns at this time.
