About Jasper
Meet Jasper, born in January 2012! His favorite food is chili dogs and his favorite color is purple. He enjoys a good joke that can make him laugh. If he could visit any place on earth, it would be to go to Puerto Rico. Jasper is a good student and his favorite subject in school is math. He has friends and when they are hanging out, they like just talking about life. Jasper enjoys things like playing soccer and volleyball, but also enjoys his video games when allowed. He currently lives in a home where he assists with chores such as vacuuming, picking up items and wiping down counters, so he is learning new skills as he approaches those teenager years. Something that he's worked hard on has been collecting Pokémon cards and enjoys sharing those with others. If he had three wishes that would be for an Nintendo switch, Jordan 12 Cherry shoes and more Pokémon cards. His favorite holiday is Christmas because that is when everyone gets together and eats well. Jasper shared he would like to be matched with a family who hopefully has a dog or is open to other pets and who also video games.
On July 1, 2024, Florida enacted a new law (often referred to as the Permanency for Children law) that limits public access to images of children in the state’s foster care system, particularly those up for adoption. The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info. Only approved, background-checked adoptive families can view photos.
