About Marie

Marie is a teenager exploring their identity and working hard to become a successful adult. As a youth with many interests, their curiosity is contagious, and they love sharing what they have learned with those in their life. Marie loves going out to eat with their favorites being Chinese, sushi, and Haitian food. Baking has become a new hobby of theirs and is a pleasurable activity for them to engage in. Marie is funny and loves to laugh; they have a great sense of humor. When a genuine connection is recognized, Marie creates strong bonds with peers and adults. Marie is very social and loves talking to others so much so that they are known as the mayor of their school. As a lover of both music and dancing, Marie has concluded that they would like to become a DJ in the future. Currently, Marie is working at a cafe located within their school; this job is teaching them responsibility and provides Marie with a wonderful sense of accomplishment; they take great pride in their work. They also love video and board games, which is a great way to connect with them and spend quality time. Marie loves school and is described as a pleasure to have in class. They relate well to their peers who find them to be an open and honest friend, which attracts people to them. Families of all constellations will be considered as potential matches; however, it is important that they be open to supporting their relationship with their brother. Marie is of Haitian and African American descent so interested families must also be firmly committed to providing appropriate ethnic and cultural role models as well as information with respect to their birth culture. In addition, our team is hoping to find visiting connections that will grow Marie’s support system into a robust resource that allows them to connect with themselves and the community.
