About the Siblings
Brooklyn: Brooklyn may be quiet at first but give him a little time and you’ll see just how much joy and curiosity he brings into the world. With a big imagination, a growing sense of humor, and a passion for dinosaurs and Legos, Brooklyn is a child full of potential who thrives when surrounded by consistency, patience, and people who truly see him. Brooklyn is a creative and energetic boy who lights up when he’s building new Lego creations, drawing, or talking about his favorite music and movies, especially if dinosaurs or Jurassic Park are involved. He’s the kind of kid who can spend hours talking about the things he loves and delights in sharing his interests with those who are willing to listen. He’s recently taken up an interest in coin collecting, finding joy in learning about each one and the stories they hold. Science is his favorite subject in school, and when he’s at home he enjoys playing with his toys, watching videos with music, and heading to the family farm on the weekends, a place he genuinely looks forward to. While Brooklyn isn’t currently involved in after school activities, he’s happiest when he’s using his imagination, moving around, or spending quiet time with things he loves. His favorite foods are chicken nuggets and fries, and his favorite color is yellow, which feels fitting for someone who’s steadily growing into his own bright personality.
Though Brooklyn has experienced some difficult things in his past, he’s made strong progress over time. He continues to grow academically, socially, and emotionally with the help of consistent routines, patient caregiving, and the right support. “He can easily be misrepresented and misunderstood,” says an adult close to him. “He is polite, funny, easy to be around, and loves his hobbies/interests. He is resilient and thriving even within the circumstances he has endured.” At home, he may need reminders and extra structure to navigate big feelings or moments of overstimulation. But under that, there’s a curious, brave, and deeply resilient child who wants to do well and seeks connection, even if he doesn’t always know how to show it right away.
Caiden: Caiden is the kind of kid who quietly impresses you with his kind heart, curious mind, and deep love for animals and the outdoors. He’s thoughtful and respectful, with a calm presence that shines brightest when he’s doing something he loves, whether that’s raising animals through 4-H, building intricate Lego creations, or caring for others in small but meaningful ways. Caiden is happiest when he’s outside or with family. He enjoys weekends spent tending to animals, helping around the farm, and simply being with the people who matter most to him. His involvement in 4-H has taught him responsibility and pride, and he’s already earned several trophies for his dedication to raising chickens, goats, horses, and turkeys. It’s no surprise that when he dreams about the future, he sees himself as a veterinarian, or maybe a police officer, someone who helps and protects. In school, Caiden stands out as an enthusiastic and respectful learner. He genuinely enjoys all of his classes and leans on his support that helps his continued academic growth. He does especially well in structured environments where his quiet strengths and love for learning are recognized. Recess is a highlight, time to unwind, play, and enjoy the moment before heading home.
Caiden’s favorite things are simple and grounding: pizza, Disney movies, swimming, Legos, and spending time with animals. He loves the color red and counts Christmas as his favorite holiday, mostly because it means family time and the comfort of familiar traditions. With friends, he prefers low-key play—building, imagining, and enjoying shared space without needing to be the center of attention. At home, Caiden is described as sweet and even-tempered, with no concerns unless provoked. “Caiden is a loving child who needs love and support,” says an adult close to him. “He is always respectful and is always curious!” Like many kids navigating foster care and adoption, he can be emotional at times, but his emotions are valid and rooted in a deep desire for stability, love, and understanding.
Caiden and Brooklyn are looking for a family who will adopt them together. They would do best in a home with two parents who are experienced and trauma informed. They would thrive as the only children in the home. They would like to be placed in a home with cultural similarities, but this is not a requirement. Most importantly, they deserve a family who celebrates their interests, listens to them, and lets their personalities unfold. A family committed to keeping their bond intact will be giving both boys the stability they deserve, and the chance to grow together.
