Meet Niam (pronounced Ny-Eem), a curious and playful boy who loves to watch “Gracie's Corner,” and play with his toys (especially his cars and games to practice numbers). Niam enjoys physical closeness to the people he loves and is happy to spend time at home as well as out in the community, such as at the local playground or indoor play spaces, where he loves to go on the slides - his favorite! Niam would love to end his week by having a Saturday morning breakfast of pancakes and bananas, followed by an outing to see a movie or explore new places like beaches and parks.
Meet Nasir, a sweet and affectionate boy who is very curious and interested in exploring new things! He is a huge fan of playing on the swings at the park and listening to live music or even putting on some tunes in the living room so he can have a dance party! An evening after school would be made best by coming home to mac and cheese for dinner and time to play with his toys, like games to practice skills of identifying shapes and colors. Nasir would love to end his day by having some snuggle time with his family before bed.
Niam and Nasir use vocalizations and physical affection to communicate with others. They are working hard to develop more communication and social skills, and would thrive with a family who was willing to support them in these journeys!
