About Trevon
When you first meet Trevon, you might think he's an adult - but don't be intimidated by his stature! He has a big build, but an even bigger heart that swells with pride when the adults in his life recognize his efforts and positive changes. And, he's got a smile that goes for miles! He has a wide range of interests, and whatever he's doing, he wants to make sure he's being helpful and polite. Trevon works hard in school and enjoys it - well, except for gym class, which feels a little too much like a "free for all" for his tastes! Trevon prefers the predictability and structure of his other classes - but makes sure he works out at home to stay healthy and burn off all that teenage energy he's got!
Trevon will tell you that his favorite things are playing video games on the X-box, exercising, and being outside. And being outside doesn't have to mean playing or joining a pick-up game - Trevon is just as happy being outside doing chores like watering the vegetable garden or helping blow grass clippings off the sidewalk. (But, he's still usually up for riding his bike, going to a local park, or swimming after his outdoor chores are done!) Special Olympics activities are a hit with Trevon - he enjoys basketball and track, and would like to see what other options they have. He'd be especially delighted if they had an activity that included trampolines - those are the best!
