About Harrison
Meet Harrison! A 12-year-old boy with a ton of interests. He is a fan of both watching and playing basketball and football (the Memphis Grizzlies and KC Chiefs are his teams!). He likes watching action movies, playing video games and building Legos. He also loves music! He's a HUGE fan of rap and hip-hop and he listens to it whenever he can. Harrison also likes to talk “shop” about both shoes and cars! He’s a wiz when it comes to the stats of different makes & models of sneakers and cars; he especially loves Yeezys and Corvettes. Because of his love for cars, he thinks he wants to be a mechanic when he grows up.
Harrison just wrapped up his 7th grade year. His favorite subject is math and he’s proud to be working on math skills a year ahead of grade level! He earned a handful of awards at the year-end assembly including one for PERFECT attendance, another for displaying great character and a 3rd for his amazing cooking skills! His favorite thing to cook is spaghetti with red sauce and he hopes his forever family will let him cook for them. Pasta is also his favorite food to eat and he loves to “research” new recipes at the Olive Garden.
Like most kids his age, Harrison loves spending time with his friends and “being goofy” with them. He’s described by his teachers as a great, loyal friend and he really values his friendships. He is known to advocate for others, especially those who can’t speak up for themselves. Not surprisingly, Harrison LOVES animals, especially dogs. He hopes to have a dog of his own some day...or maybe a monkey?! The jury is still out on which one!
Harrison hopes his forever family has pets and likes to travel, as he’s got lots of places on his bucket list! He’d be happy as the oldest, youngest or only child in the home. He looks forward to getting to know them and talking through issues as they arise. Harrison is a great kid who will soar when given the love and stability of a forever family.
