About Brooklyn

Brooklyn is a bright spark with a playful heart and boundless energy that fills any space she’s in. Whether she’s giggling over something silly, helping around the house, or riding her bike in the sunshine, she brings a lively spirit to everything she does. She enjoys being active and outdoors, and she thrives in moments that let her move, explore, and have fun. Brooklyn’s favorite things are simple and joyful—chicken nuggets and fries from McDonald’s, pizza night, playing with her favorite hippo toy, or just hanging out and being silly with friends. On weekends, she likes to “have fun and party,” which to her means laughing, talking, and enjoying time with people she cares about. An adult close to her says, “Brooklyn is very energetic. She likes to be a helping hand around the house. Brooklyn is a smart and funny young girl. She loves to tell stories and make people laugh.” She’s happiest when there’s energy in the room and people to connect with, especially her friends and siblings. Celebrating holidays like Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and the Fourth of July are some of her favorite times, especially when they’re filled with games, decorations, and a whole lot of fun. She has a soft spot for animals, especially dogs, and dreams of having one of her own someday. One of her biggest goals is to visit Disneyland, a magical place she’s always wanted to experience for herself. Until then, she keeps finding joy in her day-to-day adventures, whether she’s playing soccer, practicing gymnastics, or just being silly at home.

At school, Brooklyn says especially enjoys math and looks forward to coming home to finish her homework, a routine that gives her a sense of pride and accomplishment. She’s a hands-on learner and always eager to improve, especially when it comes to reading. She’s proud of the progress she’s made and wants people to know just how smart and capable she is. Her future parents will need to help Brooklyn with her work as she continues to make great strides in catching up with her peers academically.

Brooklyn hopes to join a family who values fun, togetherness, and shared experiences. She wants to be part of a home where everyone enjoys spending time with one another, talking, playing, and building happy memories. Brooklyn could do well in a home with one or two parents who are experienced. She is most comfortable in an urban environment, although other environments will be considered. Brooklyn also would be most comfortable with a family that shares her racial identity. She will need a family that can help her maintain her sibling relationships. With the right support and patient guidance, Brooklyn is ready to continue growing, learning, and becoming her best self. She’s a helper at heart, full of energy, and eager to find a family that will celebrate her strengths and walk beside her as she reaches for her dreams.
