About Layla
With a bright spirit and a spark of energy, Layla brings a bubbly, engaging personality to every room she enters. Her natural charm and easy conversation style make her someone others are drawn to—whether she’s joking with friends, helping around the house, or getting creative with a new project. Layla loves to laugh and finds joy in simple moments, especially when she’s surrounded by animals, watching a funny movie, or spending time with loved ones. She thrives in an environment where she can stay busy and connected. Whether she’s vacuuming, mopping, decorating her room, or helping carry in groceries, she enjoys pitching in and having a role to play. Layla’s creative side shines through in her love for art and STEM school, and she brings that same hands-on energy to her dreams of becoming a master mechanic or a veterinarian someday. She finds comfort and joy in small pleasures too, like soft blankets, horror movies, Hello Kitty, and her growing collection of Squishmallows. Outside of school, Layla’s all about staying active and social. Sports are a huge part of her life, volleyball, basketball, and softball give her an outlet for her energy and competitive spirit. On weekends, Layla enjoys working, relaxing, and catching up on sleep (a well-deserved rest from her busy week). When she’s hanging out with friends, it’s all about playing games, watching movies, and going shopping, any chance to connect and have fun. Layla also loves celebrating holidays like Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, and her birthday, especially when family is involved. Her favorite foods, like sloppy joes, spaghetti, and toaster strudels, reflect her down-to-earth tastes, while her favorite colors—lilac purple, light pink, and cornflower blue—reveal a soft, expressive side. Though she loves all animals (except snakes!), her heart especially lights up around Chihuahuas. Layla is proud of her athletic achievements and good grades, and she knows what brings her joy: being around people who care, staying active, exploring the outdoors, and feeling part of a team or community.
An adult close to her says, “Layla is bubbly, easy to talk to, and likes attention. She’s very good, smart, and ambitious.”
In a forever family, she hopes for connection, consistency, and a lot of shared experiences like watching movies, fishing, hunting, playing games, and simply talking together. She would do well in a home with one or two parents who are experienced. She will need a family that can help her maintain relationships that are important to her. Layla has expressed a preference for a mom and a dad but, primarily, she needs parents who can provide a stable routine, someone who will help keep her focused, and can help her make smart choices socially and online. Layla would love to have a sister to have fun with, so a family with other girls near her age would be welcome. Layla would also love pets -- chihuahuas preferred! She values patience, structure, and a sense of belonging. More than anything, she wants to feel truly happy again and be part of a family where that happiness can grow.
