Furlando gets along with adults, and he is open to redirection and guidance. Furlando needs to know the rules and has the ability to discuss infractions with his caretakers. When Furlando feels strongly about something, he expresses himself with passion and determination. he wants to make sure his thoughts and feeling are understood. While his voice may rise in the moment , it comes from a place of wanting to communicate and be heard. Furlando is a resilient and determined young man, navigating the challenges of being in foster care and being separated from his biological family including his eight siblings with strength and resilience. Furlando does not have contact with his siblings currently but he wants to have contact with them. He worries about them, misses them, and wants to maintain a relationship with them in the future. An adoptive family would need to support his contact with his siblings and other connections so he does not lose them. Furlando has done well in foster homes, but he is still looking for his adoptive family.
