About Gabriella

Gabriella is a kind and gentle young woman who loves animals, especially dogs, cats, and parrots. She hopes that her forever family will either let her have a pet of her own or already have pets in the home. She enjoys visiting new places, going shopping at stores like Five Below, and spending her free time drawing. While she can be quite shy and quiet, she has been described by her caseworker as caring and compassionate. Like most teens, she does love to hang out with her friends.

Gabriella has said that she feels it is important for her future family to know that she can be a picky eater. Her favorite foods include pizza, General Tso's chicken, and chicken and broccoli, so she is hoping that these may be a staple on a future family’s menu. Despite her particular tastes in food, she has an interest in the culinary arts. She is not sure if this is what she would like to do with her future, but it is definitely a current interest of hers. Perhaps your family may enjoy cooking new meals to try with her.

Gabriella is open to living in either a single-parent or two-parent home but she has expressed that she would really like to have a mother figure in her life. She has also said that she would like to be an only child, however her team continues to talk to her about this and families with other children still may be considered, if they can provide her with the individual attention that she craves.

Gabriella has a sister who lives in southeastern Pennsylvania. The sisters do visit each other occasionally and Gabriella would like for this relationship and these in-person visits to continue. Any family who is willing to provide permanency for Gabriella should be open to the idea of some continued contact.
