About Andrew
Andrew is a quiet, calm young man who enjoys engaging in intellectually stimulating conversation. He's not into sports, but does enjoy watching and playing basketball. Andrew also enjoys spending time outside, fishing, shooting at targets, riding mountain bikes or four wheelers while exploring nature. Andrew spent a lot of time working on cars with family members, and would love someone who could spend some hands on time teaching him all he can learn. He enjoys putting things together and enjoys playing with LEGOs, where he is free to build whatever he can imagine. Andrew is confident he wants to pursue a career as a mechanical engineer when he is older.
When he can't be outside, Andrew enjoys coloring, watching comedy movies, "because who doesn't love Adam Sandler," and reading mystery/adventure books. He considers himself "a serious gamer," and has been in, and placed in the top three, in a video game competition in the past. Andrew enjoys listening to any type of music, aside from classical, but his current preferred music is hip hop.
Andrew is not very picky when it comes to food, and reports he really enjoys spicy food. He is open to trying new foods and willing to experience different cuisines of various cultures. He is particularly fond of Italian cuisine, but will not eat mushrooms or peppers. Unlike most kids, he does not care for candy or sweets. His favorite holiday is Christmas because he enjoys giving gifts to others.
Andrew dreams of going back to California one day. He explained he misses the beaches, and described them as "very calming" and serene. Andrew hopes to find a forever family who understands him, and will support him while pursuing his dreams. He would like to participate in family activities, like throwing a baseball around outside or having cook outs and family get togethers. A traditional family unit with a strong male role model is preferred, but single parents will be considered, as well. He wouldn't mind having siblings near his age or older, and loves all animals (except for spiders)! His own personal space is important to him, so he would prefer to have his own bedroom. Andrew is not opposed to exploring religion, but would prefer a family that does not pressure him to participate in religious services.
