About Kevie
From the basketball court to the video game controller, Kevie is a young man who knows how to play hard and have a good time. With a love for both competition and relaxation, he’s got a great balance of energy and chill that makes every day an adventure. His afternoons are often spent playing basketball and hanging out with friends, where he shines in both his skills on the court and his ability to enjoy a good laugh. Kevie also knows how to unwind, relaxing with his favorite video games. On the weekends, Kevie loves to recharge by watching TV, playing games, and spending quality time with his friends. Whether they’re shooting hoops, riding bikes, or just hanging out, he enjoys the camaraderie and the shared moments of fun. A true foodie, Kevie’s go-to meals include comfort foods like pizza, burgers, and Alfredo with shrimp or chicken. He’s a dog lover with a special fondness for strong, loyal breeds like Pitbulls and German Shepherds. In school, Kevie gravitates towards subjects like math, reading, and biology showing his natural curiosity and eagerness to learn. He’s looking forward to joining a STEM club or basketball team soon.
Kevie dreams big when it comes to the future. One of his ultimate goals is to visit Bora Bora, where he imagines the peaceful, crystal-clear waters and the chance to relax in a beautiful setting. “He is determined,” says an adult close to him. “He is really good at using his resources when needed, very smart, and has a great smile and a great personality. He has the ability to do great things- he just needs a good role model.” He’s proud of how much he’s improved in various areas of his life and looks forward to continuing that progress with the support of a forever family.
Kevie would do best in a home with a single mom, a mom and dad or two moms who are experienced and trauma informed. Kevie could do well as an only child or with siblings in the home. He loves animals, so he’d prefer a family with pets. He will need a family that can support him and help him receive the services he needs. His future family should help him maintain the relationships that are important to him.
