About Trenton
Meet Trent (01/2009) Trent is a bright and engaging young man. He is functioning at grade level. Trenton's sense of humor is contagious, often bringing smiles and laughter to those around him. He tends to be happy and has an infectious smile. He has a deep love for most food, but especially Chinese food. Trent has strong ambitions and dreams and is great at verbalizing them to those around him. He has big dreams of attending college and even being an attorney one day. Trent is a caring young man, and it is reflected by the way he connects with others, especially being a protector to others who are vulnerable.
Around the house, Trent is helpful in completing chores and working alongside others. He truly enjoys cooking for the family but he can also wash his laundry, do dishes, and take out trash as well. He thrives when being provided with a visual list that he can look at in front of him and keep track of things to complete.
In his free time, Trent likes to play video games or watch TV. He also is quite the artist and takes pride in his work. Trent can be energetic at times, which helps him to stay active with baseball, weightlifting, local library events, teen court, and even volunteering with the local boys and girls club.
Stability has been instrumental in Trent’s growth. In a consistent and supportive environment, he thrives, engages in therapy, and successfully manages his emotions using therapeutic interventions. His resilience and progress have been unremarkable.
Trent is looking for a loving and caring adoptive family who can appreciate his unique qualities and provide a nurturing environment where he can continue to thrive. Maintaining consistency, stability, structure and routine are crucial in his success. Trent can share a home with other children but with an individual space that he can call his own. He needs a family who can provide a space for him to make mistakes and guide him through it.
