About McKinzi
There’s no such thing as boring with a girl like McKinzi in your life. “She has a BIG personality!” says an adult close to her. McKinzi has a ton of interests that she’d love to share with a future family. McKinzi’s favorite animals are horses and dogs. In fact, it would be a dream come true to live on a farm that has horses and a big dog. She used to be involved in gymnastics and would love to get involved again soon. One of McKinzi’s favorite hobbies is to find little things around the house and organize them. It’s so much fun for her! McKinzi’s favorite holiday is Christmas because she receives presents, gets to watch others enjoy opening their presents, gets to spend time with family, and gets to stay home from school. McKinzi has a hard time choosing her favorite foods and has a long list of favorites. “She enjoys eating McDonald's, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, spaghetti, French fries, French toast, dinosaur egg oatmeal, and drumstick ice cream cones.” You can never call McKinzi a picky eater! McKinzi wants to travel to Myrtle Beach or Alaska one day. One of her goals is to travel by airplane someday. Are you a family with many interests and loves to travel by airplane? “McKinzi is exuberant, entertaining, playful, friendly, grateful, silly, and goofy,” says an adult close to her. “She loves receiving attention and is very social with peers and adults. McKinzi’s aspirations include becoming "rich" and getting the material things she wants - a big house, her own room, her own dog, a phone, vacations, etc.”
McKinzi would do well in a home with a mom, dad and mom, or two moms who are experienced and trauma-informed. McKinzi would thrive as the only or youngest child in the home. As you may recall from earlier, McKinzi’s love for horses and big dogs means a rural environment with pets would be preferred. She will need a family who can support her in receiving the services she needs to thrive. Finally, a family that is willing to help her maintain her sibling relationships will be best.
