About Aiden
Aiden is a very bright young boy, funny, and can be very sweet when he wants to. Aiden gets along well with caretakers, and really enjoys playing with toys, and getting outdoors for exercise. Aiden loves playing video games, sports, including baseball, and riding a bicycle. Aiden is currently in the 5th grade and is receiving education services in his current placement. Aiden continues to respond well to assistance in completing his educational goals. Aiden enjoys school, and he enjoys learning. Aiden works hard to regulate his emotions; he is learning coping skills to help him with his relationships with his peers. Aiden has responded well to therapeutic interventions and is learning coping skills that he can apply in his day-to-day life. Since entering foster care, Aiden has become open to the possibility of adoption, and finding a suitable family to call his permanent home. Aiden has an older sibling who lives with his grandmother and hopes to someday reunite with her when the time is appropriate. Despite having been removed from his biological family, Aiden continues to harness memories of better times with his family, and any adoptive family would do well to consider keeping his family history as part of Aiden’s personal story. Being a very energetic child, Aiden would likely do well with a younger family; perhaps a family where Aiden would be the only child, would be advantageous. Aiden has stated his desire to be adopted, and having a family reinforce that he is their child.
