About Shamarr
Basketball and football are the two main focuses of Shamarr's life. A lot of his interests and dreams revolve around these two sports. He loves being an active participant in each sport after school. When he hangs out with friends, he likes to go outside, play basketball, and spend time at friend’s houses. If he could visit any place on Earth, he’d want to go to a football game simply because he loves football. When he’s an adult, he’d like to play for a team in the NBA; perhaps the Detroit Pistons since his favorite colors are red and blue? If his hoop dreams don't come to fruition he has a solid back up plan; he would go into carpentry and fix houses. Besides, playing his favorite sports, he loves to play video games and be on his phone. On the weekends, Shamarr likes to hang out at friend’s houses and go to the movies. Shamarr can’t pick a favorite holiday because he likes all of them! When he celebrates any holiday, he likes to go over to other’s houses and celebrate together. When asked what he’s most proud of, Shamarr simply cites himself. The most important things he wants everyone to know about him are that he’s a good kid, he loves his phone, and he likes to make money. At the end of the day, Shamarr wants a forever family that loves to watch movies together.
“Shamarr is a joy to be around,” An adult close to Shamarr says. “Talking to/spending time with Shamarr is always a pleasant experience, as he is such a kind, warm-hearted, easy-going young man. It is clear that he has a very warm heart and finds joy in maintaining positive relationships/bonds with the people he interacts with.”
Shamarr would do best in a home with an experienced single dad or a mom and dad. While he has lived in urban environments in the past, he may benefit from living in a more rural community. He also would thrive best in a home that can reflect and support his own cultural and racial identity. Shamarr’s favorite animals are dogs, so a house with pets would be preferred.
