Aubreyona “Bree” enjoys spending time one on other with others. She prefers small groups over large gatherings. She identifies herself as an "oldest child" (which she is). However, none of her siblings will be placed with her but she would like to stay in contact with. Bree enjoys helping and looking out for others. She is described as having a, "big heart" and wants everyone to be involved and included if there is an activity. Bree feels that in her life situation she has often been the underdog and this has helped shape her to want to stand up for the things she believes in and for those who aren't able to stand up for themselves. This can be difficult for Bree because she has a quiet, shy personality when meeting new people or being in a new situation. Bree typically warms up quickly and will open herself to others once she determines that the person has good intentions. It just may take a while.
Bree enjoys typical teenage activities such as talking on the phone and texting (when she has a cell phone) with her friends. She enjoys going to outside school events. Bree is a member of the JROTC through her school system. Bree takes pride in being in JROTC and she is very neat in her appearance and ensures that her uniform is clean and presentable. Despite her tendency to be shy she has a desire to try new things and meet new people. Bree has reported that she has played softball and has run track in the past. Bree shared that this is something that she would be open to trying again if the opportunity presented itself. She really enjoys being around animals and in particular she really likes dogs. While not a deal breaker, Bree would like to be in a home that has pets and would love to be in a home with a dog. Bree reports that she is allergic to cats.
Bree describes herself as a "germ-a-phob" and likes a clean and neat living space. She avoids things that are innately dirty and washes her hands or uses hand sanitizer regularly. Bree cares about how she presents herself to others and has shared that when she fixes her hair, has a little makeup on, and is wearing appropriate clothing she feels better about herself and it helps her confidence. She likes doing her own nails or getting them done. Bree shares that she does enjoy being helpful to others and is encouraged by positive feedback and attention. She likes Mexican and Chinese foods. Bree doesn't like getting her picture taken and typically avoids being on camera during a zoom or facetime call. Bree likes a variety of music and once she gets comfortable with a person she will sing in the car to the radio. Bree has a beautiful singing voice.
