About Kadyn

Kadyn enjoys the kinds of moments that bring people together, whether that means spending time with friends, relaxing after a busy day, or sharing a favorite meal. He has a laid-back personality but also a thoughtful side that shines through in the way he sees the world. He enjoys basketball, building with Legos, and spending time with animals. Around the house, Kadyn is always willing to lend a hand, helping with everything from dishes and laundry to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, and caring for pets.

One of Kadyn's greatest interests is history. If he could travel anywhere, he would choose places like Japan, Germany, Vietnam, Poland, and the Koreas because he wants to learn more about their cultures and the stories that shaped them. He enjoys trying different foods and proudly says he is not a picky eater. He also has a great sense of humor and enjoys sharing funny memes with others. Looking ahead, Kadyn hopes to one day work in retail at a clothing store, combining his interest in fashion with a job where he can connect with people.

What stands out most about Kadyn is his caring heart. If he had three wishes, they would be to end world hunger, homelessness, and create peace around the world. Those hopes say a great deal about the kind of young man he is. An adult close to him shares, "Kadyn is very caring, advocates for himself, and thrives when there is structure and routine." Kadyn describes himself as someone who has grown through life's challenges and continues working toward becoming the best version of himself.

Kadyn hopes for a forever family that enjoys spending time together doing the everyday things families do, whether that's sharing meals, celebrating holidays, or simply enjoying each other's company. He would do best with an experienced, trauma-informed parent or parents who can provide patience, consistency, and encouragement as he continues to grow. Kadyn would prefer a home with a mom and dad if possible, though a single parent with a strong support system would also be considered. He would do best as the only or youngest child in the home and would love a family with pets. Most importantly, he needs a family who will believe in him, encourage him as he participates in the services that help him thrive, and provide the stability, support, and sense of belonging he deserves.
