About Carina
Carina will be marching her way into your heart! Though this is not very surprising given that she’s in her school’s marching band. What might be shocking is that Carina is the only sousaphone player in her marching band, a fact she is very proud of. In fact, Carina is most proud of her band making it to the state finals. When Carina isn’t on the field marching, she’s usually watching television shows or movies. Every good movie session requires some snacks; Carina would make sure to have a plate of various fruits and spicy chips to munch on while watching the TV. Sometimes Carina prefers the privacy of her room and some good music to listen to. When it comes to her personality, she’d describe herself as “chill, funny, laid-back and an outgoing person.” If you have any cats or dogs Carina will be very happy but if you have a Pitbull or Cane Corso, she’ll be over the moon!
Carina would most likely like to attend a school with colors like red and black since these are her favorites. Speaking of school, her current favorite subject is American Sign Language and she’s been reported to have “wonderful language skills.” After school, Carina likes to relax, take a nap or hang out with friends. When she’s hanging out with friends, she likes to watch television or walk around outside. If Carina could visit anywhere in the world, she’d choose Florida because it seems like a cool place to visit, and she hears how nice it is from other people. Carina has ambitious goals for her career. She wants to be a lawyer in a private firm. If you can dream it, you can do it, Carina! Carina loves to help out after dinner by wiping down the dining table and the kitchen counters, but during dinner, one of her biggest pet peeves is sharing silverware or drinks or when people chew their food loudly. Overall, Carina can be summed up quite nicely by an adult closest to her, “Carina is very witty and has the best smile. When she smiles her eyes sparkle. Carina is special and could be a positive leader to others.”
Carina would do best with one or two parents, but it would be important to have a female parent. Her parents would need to be experienced and trauma informed. Carina could benefit from adoptive siblings in the family. It is important to her that her adoptive family allow her to continue to keep her relationship with her sisters. Carina would thrive in an environment with structure and support.
