About the Siblings
Are you ready for a dance party?! Then meet Iva and Josiah! These two siblings love to “bust a move” and know how to fill a home with music, laughter, and some pretty slick dance skills!
Iva is a big people-person and loves spending time with the important people in her life. She loves quality time! Iva is especially connected to her brother Jo, and the two love playing together, especially outdoors! They love watching birds, animals, and wildlife from their front window.
Josiah “Jo” is active and energetic and loves to be always on-the-go. Jo loves being outdoors, no matter what activity is going on! He loves running, playing with trucks, and riding his scooter. He’s not afraid of a little dirt either, as he loves to be outside playing in it!
Iva also likes spending time outdoors, especially if she gets to hang out with her brother! She loves going on walks, riding her scooter, and playing with her brother. Right now, she’s learning how to catch a ball!
These siblings love watching their favorite shows on TV! Iva’s current favorite is Peppa Pig! Lately she’s been getting anyone to laugh by making oinking sounds like her favorite show. Jo is down to watch anything as long as there are cars, trucks, or motorcycles involved!
Iva has been making lots of progress in her education. In her part time classroom, she has been learning American Sign Language (ASL) and how to use her speech tablet. She has also been learning how to vocalize words like “yeah,” and “no.” Iva’s team is looking to hear from families willing to provide her with lifelong care and assistance in nurturing her needs.
Jo is also making big strides! Currently in preschool, he constantly looks forward to going to school in the morning and getting to ride the bus. He has become a social butterfly and loves interacting with and making friends with his classmates. A family that can provide Jo with their attention and guidance, and keep up with his fast-paced personality would benefit him greatly.
Iva and Jo’s team would love to hear from two-parent families able to provide calm, active, and structured routines for these siblings. A family willing to help Iva and Jo learn more about their cultural heritage and be exposed to cultural activities would also benefit them.
We’re excited to help Iva and Jo find the adoptive family they deserve. If you can see them in your family, please reach out to us!
