About Chloe
You could turn your home into a steakhouse with Chloe’s help, and maybe even add a coin laundry. At the very least, you can take pride in her accomplishments. As Chloe explains, “I really like to cook, especially steak, and I will be learning how to do laundry soon, too.” One of her other accomplishments is as sweet as hunny – er, “honey” – since Chloe takes the most pride in “winning my school spelling bee!” This proficient speller has other ways to derive delight. Chloe enjoys playing outside, riding her bike, playing with her scooter and going to the park after school. Chloe likes starting her weekend days by sleeping in and ending them with family movie nights. When she’s hanging out with friends, she likes playing games such as Monopoly, which is her favorite. You can bet that steak is among Chloe’s favorite foods along with pizza and spaghetti. On her list of most delightful things, Chloe favors the colors red and blue as well as cats and dogs, and she likes gym class the most in school. All in all, you can tell that Chloe is an active and adventurous girl who says she dreams of traveling to the Bahamas and Disney World for a couple of reasons. “It's always hot in the Bahamas, and Disney World looks like it would be a lot of fun. They have a lot of roller coasters!” Even though she has bold choices for places to visit, you can expect Chloe to settle down to enjoy the comforts of home. She likes celebrating special occasions such as Christmas, New Years and her birthday by enjoying a nice dinner at home. It makes sense, then, that Chloe would make a great addition to a forever family because, as she explains once again, “I want to have fun with them!”
According to one of her close adults, “Chloe is an intelligent, loving social butterfly. She prides herself in being a kind individual who has a great strength in forming close bonds with the people around her. She is very outgoing and smart. She gets along with all of her peers and members of her community and has a great deal of friends at her school as well.”
Chloe would do best with one or two parents who are trauma informed. Her new family needs to make sure Chloe receives any support services she needs to be at her best. The family must be open to letting Chloe maintain appropriate relationships that are important to her. Chloe can be placed in a family with other children as well as pets. Her new family should be patient, understanding and supportive as Chloe transitions into her new home.
