About Remington
When it’s time to relax, you’ll likely find Remi, as Remington likes to be called, curled up in an upholstered chair with her eyes and her mind engaged in a book. “She loves to read,” says one of her close adults. Reading is Remi’s favorite part of school, but playing is her favorite thing to do after school. She loves playing with her toys, especially LOL dolls and Legos. Remi often takes a break from playing with toys to exercise her mind and utilize her creativity. She enjoys drawing and making arts and crafts. On the weekends, Remi busts loose from the confines of the indoors and loves spending time outside and going to the park. She enjoys spending time with friends and likes being helpful around the house. If she could travel anywhere, Remi would go to Disneyland to experience the adventures awaiting her there for the first time. She also dreams of becoming a teacher one day, and she wishes to live on a farm and have the horses, pets and other animals that come with it. Remi’s favorite animals are dogs, her favorite color is black and her favorite food is pepperoni pizza. Her favorite holidays are Halloween, Easter and Christmas, which she likes celebrating by opening gifts and spending time with family. Once she finds her own forever family, Remi hopes they’ll do fun things together such as going to the park.
“Remi is loving, caring and very shy at first,” says a close adult. “She loves to please people. She is very smart, and school appears to bring her joy. She behaves well and does really well in school academically. Remi has such a big heart and wants nothing more than a family to give her love, affection and attention.”
“A two-parent household would be best for Remi,” says a close adult. Her new parents should be patient, understanding, experienced and trauma informed. Her family needs to advocate for any support services that will help Remi be at her best. “Remi wants nothing more than a forever family who won’t give up on her,” says a close adult. She would do best as the only child in the home, and she requests that her new family has pets.
