About Jase
Wherever Jase is having breakfast, lunch or dinner, you might want to tag along, especially if his favorite foods are served. Jase loves cereal, pancakes, corn dogs with syrup, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, mac ’n cheese, apples, spaghetti and chicken nuggets. Yummy! Jase has good taste in other things, too. He loves to spend his time off on the weekends by playing outside and jumping on the trampoline. If Jase could visit anywhere, he’d go to a farm with a tractor on it. He doesn’t care if it’s a John Deere or Massey Ferguson, he just wants to sit on a tractor on a farm. “It would be fun,” Jase says. Speaking of fun, take a guess at Jase’s favorite “subject” in school. Hint: It isn’t a subject at all. It’s recess! And you can bet he’s trying to line up a round of tag with the friends, which is one of his favorite activities. Jase also enjoys playing with toy trucks and playing Connect Four. Jase’s favorite colors are blue and yellow, and his favorite animals are dogs. His favorite holidays include St. Patrick’s Day and Easter, which he enjoys celebrating by spending time with family. On his wish list, Jase includes owning glasses as well as becoming a firefighter, a police officer or – go figure – a farmer. Once Jase settles in with his new forever family, he wants to go somewhere with them, but it wouldn’t be Tractor Supply Company. Instead, Jase want to accompany his family to Chuck E. Cheese, where he might add a few more favorite foods to his list.
“Jase is a very sociable, goofy, and active little boy,” says one of his close adults. “His smile is contagious. Jase is your typical young boy who loves to run, jump, play, be silly but also loves his TV and video game time. He is friendly, talkative and inquisitive. Jase is a very loving and sweet boy.”
Jase would do best with two experienced, patient and understanding parents who are trauma informed. His new parents must be able to provide the guidance, supervision, assistance and attention Jase needs to be at his best. His family must be strong advocates for the services that will benefit him. Jase also should be the only or youngest child in the home. Jase prefers a family who has pets, and one of his close adults adds, “Jase responds well to animals and helps care for them.”
