Meet Theola....
Theola is very outgoing and really enjoys playing outside! She likes coloring, drawing, diamond art projects, and playing card games like UNO, Skip Bo and Mad Dragon. Theola’s strengths are in math, science, reading, solving puzzles, jumping rope, and physical fitness challenges! Theola loves to swim and she enjoys a variety of fun in the water from going to the beach to zipping down water slides at a waterpark. Her current hobbies include practicing her makeup, doing nails, listening to music, playing basketball, riding bikes, and learning about Wolves. Family is very important to Theola and she has the most fun playing and laughing with friends. Theola takes pride in being a good student in school and her favorite subjects are math, reading and science. Her favorite foods are Spaghettios and for breakfast she enjoys Reese’s Puffs cereal.
Theola has a variety of entertainment interests and really enjoys a good thriller for a movie night. Her favorite color is pink and some of her favorite characters are Wednesday Addams. Lilo and Stitch, Elsa, Uma (Descendents), The Grinch, Pikachu, and Sharkboy and Lava Girl. In her spare time Theola also enjoys watching Anime and one of her favorites is Naruto. She loves listening to rap music and learning about new fashions and loves shoes.
Theola is seeking a family that can engage with her in her interest and enjoys spending quality time together. Theola needs a family that can be committed to her and willing to continue supporting her connections with her elderly birth grandmother whom she has continued visits with. A family for her would be active and able to provide Theola with ample space to explore her interest and take frequent walks. To support Theola a family must be understanding of trauma and traumatic separation that many youth in care experience and can be patient and able to take time to work with Theola to build a trusted and secure attachment.
