About La'Tallia
Even though it might sound cliché, La’Tallia, who likes to go by Olly, is definitely comfortable in their own skin. After all, one of the things they take the most pride in is being themself. And that’s something Olly does really well. On the weekends, for instance, they say their favorite thing to do is “just doing me.” Olly enjoys hanging out with friends by being funny and silly and playing games. When they’re asked about their dream destination, Olly says they want to visit their hometown “because it’s my hometown!” Their sense of self will fit them well in their dream career of becoming a teacher, particularly if it involves giving lessons in art, which is one of Olly’s favorite subjects in school along with math. Some of their other favorite things are ramen noodles for food, purple for color, dogs and cats for animals and soccer for game. Olly enjoys singing and listening to music as well as drawing and playing video games. The most important things Olly wants others to know about them is, “I am nice, caring, good, silly, loving and quiet.” They’re looking for an equally nice and caring family. “Olly talks about and is excited about family and would love to be adopted by a loving family,” says a close adult.
According to one of their close adults, “Olly has a great since of humor and a good personality. They have exhibited an appropriate sense of self by knowing what they like and dislike. Olly is a nice, strong and determined young teenager who likes to play with their friends and family.”
Their new parent or parents should be experienced and trauma informed. Olly’s new family must make sure they receive the services they need to thrive.
