About Stuart
Stuart likes cars and clever quips, so you might hear jokes with punch lines such as “tyrannosaurus wrecks” being the most likely dinosaur to crash a car or “Yolks-wagon” being an egg’s favorite vehicle. “Stuart is incredibly silly,” says one of his close adults. “He loves to be the center of attention.” Three of Stuart’s favorite things to do are “being goofy” after school, “being goofy” on weekends and “being goofy” when spending time with friends. This comical kid gets serious when performing in the school choir, and when attending science class, which are his two favorite parts of his school day. “Stuart loves to garden and be outdoors,” says one of his close adults. “He enjoys being with family and the people he loves.” Stuart’s favorite things include berries, cats and the colors blue, green and pink. He loves playing hands-on games and building things with Legos. Stuart’s favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas because “they reunite me with the people I love.” Stuart enjoys spending time with friends as well as interacting with animals. As much as he enjoys having fun in the present, Stuart looks forward to the future. “He would like to own a car garage someday and be a dad,” says one of Stuart’s close adults. “I am very good with cars,” says Stuart, who adds that he’s a good kid and a quick learner. He’d love to become a member of a forever family who’s nice, loving and respectful.
“Stuart is incredibly silly and full of energy,” says a close adult. “He is a genuine and great person, and he loves to make others laugh. He enjoys helping others, is respectful of adults and does well with children who are older and younger than he is.”
Stuart would do best with two parents, and he prefers a mom and dad, but “he could be successful in a single-parent home or with a same-sex couple,” says one of his close adults. His new parent or parents should be understanding, patient, experienced and trauma informed. Stuart’s new family needs to make sure he receives any services that will help him be at his best. Because he loves animals, Stuart prefers a family who has pets.
