About Christian
Although he’s not applying for a job just yet, Christian’s resume would make a video game developer jump at the chance to hire him. His list of favorite things is dominated by everything to do with video games. “Christian loves any device with a game on it,” says a close adult. “He loves electronics.” When he’s asked his favorite weekend activity, Christian says playing video games. His favorite thing to do with friends? You guessed it, playing video games. He loves playing video games with his brother and when celebrating holidays. When he gets older, Christian wants to become – surprise! – a video game designer. His love of gaming spreads to Christian’s dream destination, which is visiting one of the people close to him because she lets him play video games. She also cooks him delicious meals. Christian’s favorite foods are pizza and tacos, his favorite color is green and his favorite animals are dogs. He doesn’t have a favorite subject in school, but his favorite after-school activities have nothing to do with gaming. Instead, Christian likes heading home to sleep and eat his favorite foods. Going to “cool food spots” is one of the things Christian looks forward to doing with a new family along with traveling together.
According to one of the adults close to him, “Christian is a very loving boy who tries hard every day. He is very smart and playful. Christian is full of life with lots of personality.”
A patient and understanding family would be in Christian’s best interest. He needs a parent or parents who are loving, experienced and trauma informed. His new family must be fierce advocates for the services that will help Christian thrive. Finally, Christian wishes for a family who has dogs.
