About Lisa
Lisa is described as both funny and intelligent. She is open to new experiences and has gone horseback riding, taken violin lessons, played volleyball at her school, and taken part in a local Wizard of Oz production. She loves arts and crafts, playing card and board games, and watching videos on her tablet. Lisa enjoys reading and you can always count on her to have a book in hand. Lisa would one day like to take gymnastics or karate lessons. Lisa also attends a youth group and church, which she enjoys very much.
Lisa is a good student and thrives with structure and routine. She makes friends very easily and is a leader in school. She ran for and was elected to student government in the 4th grade. Lisa is also known to reach out to new students or the ones sitting by themselves. She is very inclusive and enjoys being part of a group.
Lisa’s social worker is seeking a loving and patient family of any constellation where there is at least one female role model. Lisa has been successful in a foster home with younger siblings, but would benefit from being the only child or the youngest with the other children being much older; this is so she receives as much individualized attention as possible. Lisa really values her church community, and would like to continue attending a church post-placement. Lisa is making great developmental strides and will bring joy to any family that provides her with permanency.
