About Napoleon
Sparking a conversation with Napoleon is a piece of cake, so to speak. Just steer the discourse to the topic of food. “Napoleon likes to cook,” says one of his close adults. “He is good at cooking pancakes. Pancakes and hamburgers are his favorite food. He reported that he could talk hours and hours about food, especially Baconators from Wendy’s and pancakes.” Once you exhaust the flapjack yak, you could probably get Napoleon to talk about exercising. “He enjoys playing basketball and having the opportunity to participate in activities at the boxing gym,” a close adult says. “Napoleon is really excited to start boxing.” After he takes a break from working out, you might find Napoleon reading. He particularly enjoys fantasy novels. Napoleon likes playing video games, too, especially those that use the first-person point of view. Although he enjoys cooking, Napoleon isn’t interested in a restaurant job in the future. “He aspires to be a construction worker or landscaper when he gets older,” says a close adult.
“Napoleon enjoys talking with his family,” says one of his close adults. “He is very excited when he gets to do something he enjoys. Napoleon stated that he likes history and English language arts classes at school. He is also taking video game design, algebra and natural disaster classes.”
At this time, Napoleon is struggling with the idea of becoming a member of another family and will need an adoptive family who is understanding and patient with his transition. It is recommended that Napoleon be adopted by a one- to two-parent household with or without children. The adoptive family must be willing to support and advocate for Napoleon’s physical, mental, emotional and educational needs and wellbeing now and into the future. Napoleon’s new parent or parents must be experienced and trauma informed. Finally, Napoleon stated a preference for pets in his new home.
