About Isaac
Isaac wants nothing to do with singing about victors valiant or conquering heroes because instead of maize and blue, he favors green and white and prefers to sing “Victory for MSU!” “I am a Michigan State fan,” Isaac proudly proclaims, adding that he wishes “everyone would be a Michigan State fan.” One day, this MSU fan could be watching games or playing them at the university’s Breslin Center because he loves basketball and takes pride in his skills. Isaac also enjoys playing tennis, but one of his biggest joys comes from spending time outdoors. He dreams of visiting the Eastern Alps “because I want to see the mountains!” Isaac says. When the Fourth of July rolls around, he loves going camping as well as watching fireworks. “He loves to take care of animals, big or small,” says one of his close adults. Isaac lists dogs as his favorite animals – especially boxers – and broccoli, pizza and white chocolate brownies as his favorite foods. Isaac’s favorite activities include attending the youth group at his church and the youth center in his community. He likes playing video games and board games such as Rummikub. When he gets older, Isaac wants to become a teacher or an electrician. In addition to wishing everyone would love the team dressed in green and white, Isaac hopes, “It would not be cold outside all the time in the winter, and I wish to be tall.” Because he’s such a fan of games, Isaac hopes for a family who likes playing them and who enjoys attending sporting events.
According to one of his close adults, “Isaac is very social, outgoing, and enjoys engaging with peers and adults. Isaac is interested in learning about those around him and has a lot of compassion for others. Isaac loves to be around people and involved in a family setting. Isaac has a huge heart and a strong sense of right from wrong.”
Isaac needs two parents who are experienced, and trauma informed. His new family needs to be open to letting Isaac maintain his sibling relationships. If there are other children in the home, Isaac would prefer that they are similar in age to him. His new family needs to be able to provide the attention and guidance Isaac requires. Because he’s an animal lover, Isaac wants a family who has pets.
