About Dannielynn
Of all the things Dannie, as Dannielynn prefers, enjoys doing – and trust us, her list is long – she says she’s best at writing. Like others who do well in writing, Dannie uses reading as a springboard. “She is an avid reader and is currently reading ‘The Hate U Give,’” says one of her close adults. Dannie’s favorite TV shows – “Stranger Things” and “Dragon Slayer” – also could serve as catalysts to her creativity. Dannie enjoys drawing and dancing. Dannie likes participating in cheerleading and marching band. She loves fashion and enjoys giving others makeovers. As you might expect from a fashionista, Dannie enjoys shopping any chance she gets. She likes having sleepovers with her friends, and she enjoys celebrating holidays with family. Her favorite holidays and ways to celebrate them are Valentine’s Day by sending cards, Fourth of July by watching fireworks and Christmas by participating in the gift exchanges. Dannie’s other favorite things include Chinese cuisine for food, Uno for game, history for subject in school, cats for animals and purple and red for colors. When she gets older, Dannie wants to become a surgeon, and as a dream destination, she chooses Hawaii for the warmth and sunshine. As a matter of fact, getting a passport and traveling are a couple of things Dannie looks forward to doing with her future forever family.
“Dannie is very outgoing and silly,” says one of her close adults. “She loves attention and is helpful when needed. She loves to be outgoing or watch TV, play with her younger siblings, and participate in cheer.”
Dannie would do well with a single female parent, two female parents or a mom and dad who are experienced and trauma informed. Her new family must make sure Dannie receives any support services she needs to be at her best. Her family should be open to letting Dannie maintain her sibling relationships. Even though cats are her favorite animals, Dannie certainly would do well with other pets in her new home.
