About Treasure

Her eye for detailed colors sets Treasure up to be an incredible artist. Her favorite hues are blue, lemon yellow, and light green. Then there’s the desire that fires her creativity. Treasure wants to become an artist or something related to art, like interior design or animation, when she gets older, and she’s well on her way. “She loves to talk about drawing,” says one of Treasure’s close adults. Treasure takes pride in her drawings, and she hopes to join an art club to hone her craft. Her favorite subject in school is art, and she earns good grades there. When asked where she wants to go most, you’d find that Treasure doesn’t want to go very far. “I want to go to the Cheesecake Factory to eat pasta and cheesecake,” says Treasure. In addition to pasta and cheesecake, Treasure’s extensive list of favorite foods includes lasagna, chicken alfredo, pepperoni pizza, chicken and waffles, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate chip pancakes. Her favorite animals are cats, and her favorite after-school and weekend activities are watching TV and drawing. Treasure has wishes of a “perfect life.” Her three wishes are “perfect hair with no maintenance, perfect job and lifestyle and knowing the path to get there, and a ton of money so I can save money and work a job I love without worrying about how much it pays.” Treasure is most proud of her art and her grades but also when she says something witty. In her own words, “Like what? Did I just come up with that?” Does your family have a passion for art and love to go to Cheesecake Factory? Treasure might just fit right into your family!

“Treasure would rather be by herself, but she loves to talk about drawing,” says one of her close adults. “She is a kind and well-mannered young lady who is well-behaved. Treasure is a good kid who is able to advocate well for herself.”

Treasure would do best with one or two parents who are experienced, and trauma informed. She can be placed in a forever family with or without other children. Her new family should be able to advocate for Treasure’s needs. Her new family needs to be open to letting Treasure maintain her relationship with her brother. Finally, Treasure wants a family who has pets, specifically cats and dogs.
