About Zariah
If she could pluck fun from a store’s shelf, Zariah would fill a grocery cart with it. Truth be told, Zariah already has more fun than an entire store could stock on its shelves. She likes playing sports, being outdoors, going to the park with friends and participating in family-friendly festivities. Zariah loves going to indoor adventure parks whether the trip includes jumping on trampolines, climbing walls or playing laser tag. Like many youngsters, Zariah enjoys going out to eat and watching movies in the theater or at home. She likes playing video games and talking on her phone to family and friends. When she gets older, Zariah isn’t sure what she wants to do as a career, but she does want to visit New York City. “I want to explore,” she says. This fun-seeking young lady lists dogs and cats as her favorite animals, blue and purple as her favorite colors and Mexican, seafood and Chick-fil-A as her favorite foods. Zariah says gym and math are her favorite subjects in school, and Christmas is among her favorite holidays because she enjoys spending special time with family and friends. If she had three wishes, Zariah would want to “have money, meet famous people and have a car,” she says. Because she loves having fun, she hopes for a family who enjoys the same. Some of the things Zariah wants to do with her new family include traveling, swimming, going to the park and watching movies.
“Zariah is a very intelligent and clever young girl,” says one of her close adults. “She is very caring and loves to help others. Zariah has a big heart and is very kind to others. Zariah is very active and athletic as well. She loves helping and just having fun.”
Zariah’s new family needs to be fierce advocates for the services that will help her flourish. Zariah can be placed with other children, and she’d love to have a younger sibling. She also favors pets in her new home. Finally, her family must be open to letting Zariah maintain her sibling relationships.
