Meet Jacai! Jacai or “Jack” as he likes to be called is a young man who knows what he enjoys. Jack is interested in learning about the his Native American heritage. He relishes being outdoors and exploring the world. Jack likes to read the Five Nights at Freddy’s book series. Jack will do best in a home that has structure and clear expectation. He wants to be part of an active family that will foster his intrigue with the land. He is open to achieving permanency through adoption with a family that resides in any state, but if you live in Florida on a ranch, that is a plus to him! Jack is open to any family dynamic whether it be a two parent household, single parent, etc. Jack has shared that he would like to achieve permanency with a family that will support his interests in afterschool activities like sports, choir, etc. Jack loves animals and would like to have a pet of his own if possible. Jack would like others to know that he appreciates when his boundaries are respected. Jack has siblings and would like a family that is willing to preserve those connections as appropriate. It may be important to note that currently, Jack is a part of a sibling group with another youth whom he does not wish to be adopted with at this time.
Meet Antonio! Antonio is funny and loves to make the people around him laugh. Antonio does appreciate one on one time with his caregivers. His favorite pass time activities include playing with dogs and eating some delicious food. Antonio is inquisitive and does well in an environment where he is allowed to ask questions and speak his mind. Antonio likes to prepare for transitions and needs a family that will foreshadow expectations during outings and visiting new placed. He would prefer to achieve permanency through adoption with a family that resides in any state with the exception of Florida. If you reside in West Virginia, that is a plus to him! While Anthony would like to live somewhere with farm animals, he has shared that he would like to be near a larger city with water parks, zoos, etc. as well. Anthony is open to any family dynamic whether it be a two parent household, single parent, etc. Anthony would like others to know that while he enjoys reading the bible, he is not particularly religious. Anthony’s interests include music, video games, drawing, and building with Legos. Anthony’s interest in his Native American heritage varies so he would appreciate a family that is patient as he navigates that interest. In addition, Anthony has siblings and would like a family that is willing to preserve those connections as appropriate.
