About Isaac
You’ll never suffer a loss of adventure with Isaac around the house. His favorite thing to do on the weekend is “get outdoors,” and he has a full slate of activities he enjoys. In the colder months, Isaac enjoys sledding and cross-country skiing. When it’s warmer, Isaac likes fishing, swimming, bike riding, taking walks and playing and watching baseball. “He is a big New York Yankees fan,” says one of Isaac’s close adults. Even in inclement weather, Isaac still manages to entertain himself by playing video games and solving puzzles. “He collects basketball, baseball and Pokémon cards,” adds a close adult. “He’s also a good cook and likes to help with meal prep.” One of Isaac’s biggest pleasures comes from simply “being silly.” His favorite after-school activity is relaxing and snacking, his favorite food is lasagna and his favorite color is red. Isaac says his dream destinations are China and Tokyo for a couple of reasons. “It would be interesting, and I think the culture would be cool,” he says. When he reaches adulthood, Isaac says he wants “to be happy.” Isaac’s wish list includes “having someone believe in me, having a better life and having a family.” Isaac says he wants a family so they can help each other.
“Isaac is soft-spoken, kind, caring, inquisitive and strong,” says one of his close adults. “Isaac is smart and curious and wants to better understand the world around him. Isaac genuinely enjoys being helpful and included, sharing in tasks and projects. He thrives in positive circumstances and just needs the stability of someone who can meet his needs and is genuine in their adoration of him.”
Isaac would do well in a forever family in which he’s the only or youngest child. His parent or parents should be patient, understanding, experienced and trauma informed. Isaac would do best with a structured daily routine and a home where he receives the guidance and attention he requires to be at his best. His new family must make sure Isaac gets any support services that will benefit him.
