About Jason
Jason races from one activity to another, but it’s not because of an attention issue. It’s because he has so many favorite activities. “Jason loves many sports including basketball, baseball, football and soccer,” says one of his close adults. “He enjoyed participating in Boy Scouts as well. He loves being outdoors, swimming, riding bikes and playing with remote control cars.” As a matter of fact, if Jason’s wishes come true, he’ll own “lots of cars,” and he’ll be a millionaire who lives in a mansion. Jason will become a firefighter, and he’ll travel to San Francisco because “they have cool stuff.” Even though he thinks about the future, Jason’s many activities bring his thoughts back to the present. On the weekends, he likes camping, fishing and bowling. Jason’s favorite after-school activity is going to the playground. On his list of favorite things, Jason picks tacos for food, black for color, tiger for animal and science for subject in school. Jason also collects Pokémon cards and plays the guitar, and he enjoys playing video and board games. This active young man hopes for an equally active forever family. Jason hopes they’ll do things together such as camping, shopping, playing sports and going out to eat.
According to one of the adults who cares about him most, “Jason is funny, caring and outgoing. Jason is polite and friendly with others. He loves to help around the house and is eager to please his caregivers.”
“Jason really wants to find his forever family,” says one of his close adults. Jason would do best with two experienced parents who are trauma informed. His new family needs to be fierce advocates for the services that will help Jason excel. In addition, he would do best as the youngest child in his new family.
