About Jaylin
At its deepest, the Pacific Ocean spans just under seven miles from surface to bottom, and Jaylin wants to explore it. “I am interested in discovering what is down there,” she says. But first, there are some other explorations in Jaylin’s future. “She hopes to travel the world,” says a close adult. Jaylin also has her sights set on a career in cosmetology and making the world a better place. She wishes for wealth and happiness, which she already finds in some of the things she enjoys. She likes participating in cheerleading, and she enjoys outdoor activities such as snowmobiling. Jaylin enjoys creating art in all its forms. She not only likes art but also science in school. Jaylin’s favorite food is steak, her favorite color is blue and her favorite animals are snakes. Her favorite after-school activities are relaxing and taking a nap, and her favorite thing to do on weekends is spending time with friends. Jaylin says she enjoys binge-watching shows and movies with her pals. Her favorite holiday is Christmas, which she likes celebrating by spending time with family. Jaylin says she hopes they’ll spend time with each other and perhaps go to Disney World or Disneyland together.
“Jaylin is a patient and caring girl who is energetic when things interest her,” says one of her close adults. “She is brave and extremely resilient. Jaylin is also talented in many realms including cheerleading, art and humor. She is loving and helpful, and she is quiet but very thoughtful and intelligent.”
Jaylin would do best with one or two experienced and trauma-informed parents. Her new family must be fierce advocates for the services that will help Jaylin flourish. Jaylin needs a family who is open to letting her maintain her sibling relationships. She would do best as the youngest child in the home, but families with other children would be considered. Finally, Jaylin shares that she really loves animals and would enjoy caring for pets in her new family.
