About Elijah
Elijah the Energizer beats that certain battery company’s pink bunny any and every day of the week. “He has a lot of energy,” says one of Elijah’s close adults, “and loves to play.” That he does! Given the chance, Elijah will hop into action and leave that bunny in his dust. “He enjoys running, swinging and jumping on the trampoline,” says one of Elijah’s close adults. “He loves outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking and helping feed the animals.” Elijah loves being around other children, but he also enjoys playing on his own with Play-Doh, stuffed animals or in the sandbox. He has grown leaps and bounds in his ability to play.
“Elijah is a very sweet and happy boy who has a beautiful smile that brings joy to anyone who sees it,” says one of his close adults. “He is very affectionate to caregivers and shows it through smiles and eye contact.”
“Elijah would do best in a family who provides him with structure and stability,” says a close adult. “He does well with routines.” Elijah would do best with two experienced parents who can provide the attention and supervision he requires. He also would do best as the youngest child in his new family. Elijah’s new parents must be fierce advocates for the support services that will help Elijah function at his best.
