About Jaxen
Jaxen is a 9 year old, friendly child. He has made progress in communication and becoming more social with adults and peers. He has begun learning how to use a communication app. on his tablet. This allows him to begin to respond with yes/no answers and to choose between music or music he may want to watch/listen to. He will begin using more communication type applications soon. When Jaxen is with known and preferred care givers, he will engage in tasks presented and work toward identified goals such as task assignment or OT/PT activities. He has the ability to create meaningful connections with adults. He enjoys music/musicals, singing along to music, Disney (specifically Frozen and Moana), fidget items (like poppers), noise responsive toys, items to manipulate, game of “toss” with a ball.
