About Braydon
If he could be a superhero, Braydon likely would become Megamind. OK, the animated superhero voiced by Will Ferrell might stretch the definition of superhero, but we think Braydon fits the attributes of the character just the same. First of all, he’s got the mega mind and isn’t afraid to flaunt its powers. “Braydon enjoys activities that activate his ‘brain power’ and give him a chance to shine,” says one of the adults who cares about him most. And although he’s not faster than a speeding bullet like Superman or an expert at deducing like Batman, Braydon still has plenty to boast about during show and tell at school. He’s practiced yoga, participated in swim class and excelled in most of his classes. Braydon claims math as his favorite subject in school and studies hard at almost everything else. “Braydon is incredibly smart and has excellent grades,” says one of his close adults. Like a lot of young men his age, Braydon enjoys building things with Legos and playing video games. He loves playing at the park and afterwards he’s likely engaging in reading, which is another favorite mind-expanding activity. Braydon understands the importance of family and will fit in with one who believes in him and enjoys how well he interacts with others.
“Braydon enjoys being the center of attention and will pride himself on creating a game for everybody to play,” says one of the adults who cares about him most. “He is very playful and will go out of his way to try and make people laugh. He is helpful, creative, strong and resilient. He wants to change the world someday, and I think he has all the power to do it!”
According to a close adult, “Braydon will need very warm and positive caregivers and a structured and predictable home environment.” Two experienced and trauma-informed parents would help him excel. His new forever family must make sure Braydon receives the services he needs to function at his best. Lastly, “Braydon loves animals and would prefer a family with a pet, especially a cat or lizard.”
