Andrew has a story to tell, and it goes like this: “I am reserved, quiet at times but always smiling. I’ve witnessed and been through a lot in my young life and some of the things were and are hard to deal with. Just remember I am a teenager who wants to be loved like everyone else, without being judge on my past, present or future. I am only looking for someone to give me a chance and have patience with me.” Well said, Andrew! This sensitive and articulate young man shares many of the interests of others his age such as playing football and video games. On his list of favorite things, Andrew includes lions, the color red and card games. His favorite food is pizza. Andrew enjoys spending time with friends and often uses the occasion to talk or go to the movies. One of Andrew’s biggest wishes involves traveling to Dubai because “of the money associated with the city,” he says. He dreams of turning his enjoyment of football into a profession by playing in the NFL. Andrew also dreams of having a happy life and becoming a member of a forever family. Andrew hopes they’ll enjoy spending quality time together, getting to know each other and traveling when the time for it arises.

Andrew would do best with a parent or parents who are experienced and trauma informed. He’d do best with a family who’ll provide the support, guidance and attention that he requires. Andrew’s new family must make sure he receives any services he needs to thrive. He likes animals and wishes for a family who has pets, especially dogs.
